There are several excellent disability grants and scholarships available, and if you’re a student with a disability, you may be able to apply for one of them to help you pay for college.

Scholarships for people with disabilities can come from many different places. The colleges and universities themselves come first. You can definitely contact the financial aid office of your prospective or present institution, regardless of whether you’re still in high school or are already enrolled in college, to learn more about scholarships that are specifically tailored to you.

The US Department of Education’s TRIO Program, which seeks to provide resources to those with disadvantages (disabilities, low income, and first-generation status), is another option for students with disabilities.
