Depending on the level of privacy you wish to maintain on your handle, this is all about how to block and unblock someone from a Facebook page. Don’t let them stress the hell out of you when you still own and manage your page or handle yourself. When you block or ban someone from your Facebook page, they are no longer able to post to it, like or comment on its posts, message the page, or just like it. They will still be able to share stuff from your page on other Facebook pages, though.

Although Facebook is presently rolling out its New Pages experience, many of us still don’t have access to the new way of managing a page. Because of this, this post will explain how to block users in both the traditional version and new pages. To learn how to block users from your page in Classic Facebook, continue reading or go to the Troubleshooting section at the bottom for two simple methods.

New Pages Encounter

To block users from your Page on Facebook, you must have Facebook access if you assist in managing a Page under the new Pages experience. You can restrict users from other tools if you have task access to the content, communications, or community activity for the Page.

The following actions are no longer possible for a profile while logged in as that profile when you block it from your Page in the new Pages experience:

  • See content you’ve posted on your Page
  • Label your Page
  • Invite your Page to gatherings or activities
  • Engage in dialogue with your Page.
  • Locate your Page by doing a Facebook search.

A profile that follows your Page will no longer be a follower if you unfollow it. Keep in mind that blocking a profile or page only prevents access to it from your Page. Apps, games, or organizations that both your Page and the blocked profile or Page are a member of are not included in this.

Unblock a page, app, or profile

For your Page to unblock a profile, app, or Page:

  • Click Unblock after Privacy in the left menu.
  • Next to the profiles, apps, or Pages you want to unblock, click Unblock.

Will Facebook Notify Me If Someone Blocked Me?

No, Facebook does not notify you if someone has blocked you. However, there are some signs that can indicate that you have been blocked by someone. For example, if you cannot see their profile or any of their posts, or if you cannot send them a message or add them as a friend, it’s possible that they have blocked you.

However, it’s important to note that there could be other reasons why you are unable to see someone’s profile or content. They may have changed their privacy settings or deleted their account, for example. So it’s not always clear-cut whether someone has blocked you or not.

If you suspect that someone has blocked you on Facebook, the best thing to do is to try to contact them through other means, such as email or phone, to see if they are still active on Facebook or if there are any issues that need to be resolved.
