1. Sub-programs of the OWWA Scholarships Scheme for Filipino Students 2024. Education for Development Scholarship Program [EDSP]

Condition 3: You must also perform somewhat well in your academic endeavors, which is another crucial prerequisite. In other words, you received at least 80% of the possible high school grades.
Additionally, you need to be in the top 20 percent of all graduating students.
Additionally, you must score in the top 400 test takers on the DOST qualifying exam.
For students in their second, third, fourth, or fifth year, the process of demonstrating academic success is very different. You would be expected to have a GWA of at least a B in order to demonstrate your academic excellence. You would also be needed to have 85% of the total points from your last academic session if your institution doesn’t utilize letters to denote grades.

A letter from the high school principal attesting to your general weighted average (GWA). This certificate should attest to your high school graduation with at least an 80 percent grade and top 20 percent placement.

2. OFW Dependent Scholarship Program [ODSP]
You might think about the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) if, for whatever reason, you are not eligible for the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP). The worth of this scholarship is PHP 20,000. Additionally, it is designed for dependents with guardians who make no more than $600 a year and are not the best students.
Condition 1: Being a child or sibling of an OWWA member is the first condition to be eligible for this scholarship. In other words, this scholarship program would not just accept any dependent.

The following are the documents you would be required to produce, even if the things mentioned above are the conditions for being considered for the OFW Dependent Scholarship Program [ODSP]:
- A completed ODSP form
- Two passport photos, size 2 x 2.
- A trustworthy document or collection of documents that can attest to your relationship to an OWWA member may serve as proof of your relationship.
- Form 137 is required for new students; Transcript of Records/Certificate of Grades is required for second, third, fourth, and fifth-year students.
- A certificate from the doctor attesting to your excellent health
- Certificate of good moral character (from your high school principal)
- There is no set application opening or closing date because this scholarship can be applied for at any time
