Lancaster PhD Studentships 2024 for Students from Developing Countries to Study in UK
Eligibility:
- Nationals of nations with medium or low levels of human development, as determined by the United Nations Human Development Programme Development Report, are welcome to apply.
- Candidates should have a strong undergraduate degree with the UK equivalent and meet the university’s English language standards.
- Transcripts for undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as at least one reference, are also required from applicants.

Cost of the Award:
Full fees for a three-year Ph.D., a stipend to cover living expenses and research support, and a training grant to cover research expenditures are fully covered by the Lancaster Ph.D. Studentships 2024.
How to Use Lancaster PhD studentships:
Candidates must have a strong undergraduate degree that is equivalent to one from the United Kingdom. They are also required to submit a CV, a one-page personal statement outlining their experience and reasons for wanting to pursue a doctorate, and a two-page research proposal outlining the study they intend to conduct at Lancaster Environment Center. If your application is longer than two pages, just the first two pages will be taken into consideration.
Applicants must name up to three possible supervisors for their research in their research proposal. The Lancaster Environment Center’s academic faculty is listed here, and supervisors are required to be members of that staff. Please choose staff members who have experience conducting the research you’ve selected. Applications must be sent to [email protected] with the topic “Developing Countries” in the email. The application date is March 31, 2024.
